Accessibility Statement

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checklist, so if you run into something that doesn’t work well with the technology you use, please let us know using the contact form below.

What’s in place

Semantic landmarks and heading structure throughout, a “skip to content” link for keyboard users, visible focus indicators on interactive elements, keyboard support for custom controls (the audio player’s seek bar, the press-quote carousel), alt text on meaningful images and empty alt text on decorative ones, and reduced-motion support for parallax effects and the auto-rotating quote carousel.

Known limitations

Some content — YouTube videos, Spotify/Bandcamp/Subvert embeds — comes from third-party platforms and their accessibility is outside this site’s control. Some pages are still placeholder content as the site is being built out.
